From The Inside 2010 – Prisoner Art

The new exhibition, presented by the Department of Corrective Services and Fremantle Prison features artwork created by current inmates with a strong representation of Aboriginal art and the works are available for purchase. Admission to the Gallery is free. The Fremantle Prison is open 10am – 5pm daily.

GINGA BRAZIL Concert @ Kulcha

Brazilian singer Juliana Areias(www.julianaareias.com ) teams up some of Perth’s most versatile musicians: guitarist Glenn Rogers, double bassist Adam Springhetti and percussionist Marcio Mendes, creating a new Ginga. Ginga is a Brazilian word that describes the signature element, the malleable bilateral motion and spirit that Brazilians present in the everyday life - always keeping in rhythm. Roll up for a stunning night of classic and contemporary bossa, samba, fusions and improvisations.

Go Wild For The Kimberley

An eclectic mix of indie blues, psychedelic rock, and all out brass n beats fun combines for night that promises to be filled with good vibes, and all for a good reason. The Joe Kings, Black Milk, and the Brow Horn Orchestra are set to entertain the crowd for a music fundraiser in support of the ‘Save the Kimberley’ environment campaign.
