Budget Chalet

SLEEPS: UP TO 3 PEOPLE

The Budget Chalet is an “A” frame cabin with open plan living. They are fully self contained with an internal bathroom. Bedding configuration is 1 double bed on the ground floor and 1 single bed on the mezzanine floor, accessible by a steep ladder. The Budget Chalet is situated in the middle of our caravan park. This is an older style chalet with a small verandah. Prices start from $280 (+GST) per week plus power and water. 4 weeks minimum, conditions apply. CHALET STANDARD

The Chalet Standard is an “A” frame cabin with open plan living. They are fully self contained with an internal bathroom. Bedding configuration is 1 queen bed on the ground floor and 2 single beds on the mezzanine floor, accessible by a steep ladder. The Chalet Standard is close to the main road at the entrance of our caravan park. This is an older style chalet with no verandah. Stayed 5 days in a cabin. Very quiet and relaxing. Staff were very friendly.

We liked the location since we had bicycles and it was about 3k to central Freo. The showers and laundry facilities were very clean. The motor home sites were not large but had a grassy area, concrete pad and good picnic table.

Good caravan park with clean am entities there is a bus stop out the front that takes you to Fremantle and freo station
Only 2.5 to Fremantle nice walk along the beach only 600 metres from Woolworths, a cafe a bakery and Dan Murphys and Supre
Powered sites , MH area , tent area , long term area … No pool or playground

This was the best site for a small van out of 14 we stayed in north and south of Perth. Others ranged from Big-4 en-suite sites to bush camps. Fremantle village has a special enclosed area for 18 small vans, with its own gas BBQs, comfortable kitchen with lounge and TV, and modern shower and toilets. Tents and larger vans are assigned to the general camp site, which also has attractive cabins. It was not cheap – $40 for 3 people near the end of September increased to $50 at the start of the school vacation. But I didn’t hesitate to return. There is also an excellent fresh fish shop “Sealanes” near the Marina open 7/7 till late
